End of July already? Geez. Figure that out. It was a busy month. I overcame the FF14 addiction, but started watching anime again. I made a video to The Steves Talk channel explaining my ongoing frustrations. I had plans for the summer. I wanted to accomplish a lot of things, but I accomplished nothing. I have been pecking away at learning more code. Javascript and node, specifically. Not going well. I'm redesigning this website again, but it's been frustrating and I kinda gave up. On the other hand, I've managed to be on keto for two weeks and have lost another 12 pounds at best. I drop off keto a few days before Otakon and will probably gain the weight back. Gotta eat like a normal person... can't keep up my crazy lifestyle. After a 30some hour fast, I met Lawrence, Zeke, and Sam at Buffalo Wild Wings in Robinson for my first proper meal and to pick up my finished Cirno dress. Sam did a wonderful job on it. It's really cute. I tried it on a bit ago and it fits perfectly. I don't even need to use the zipper. It's got so much skirt it's silly. I love everything about it. I'd wear it all the time if I could get away with it. I bought the add on items for the rest of the costume today. Red ribbon, sunflowers, and a vine. Chris got home super late, after a long outing with a friend of ours, Elissa. They went skydiving and hiking. I had misunderstood and assumed they'd be home last night. Turns out, I was home alone all weekend. When he got home, I was reading about Javascript naked in bed while watching a dude play Shin Megami Tensei on Twitch. I put the dress on because it was the closest thing I could grab and went down to talk to him. He explained his plans for his level 20 Pathfinder character to my great amusement. Came back upstairs, read more about Javascript, hurt my brain thinking about the difference between objects and arrays. I just want arrays of objects. Geez. At any rate, it's late. I want to sleep. Not sure if I'm gonna try soon. I've got apple scented candles burning, the AC is keeping me cool... life is good in this moment. Nick just got home and is talking to me now. Good night.
