March Marches On

It's been a weird balance of things lately. FIrst off: the weather sucks so much right now I can't even explain. High winds, frigid temperatures. I can't figure out how the thermometer reads 33 and my skin wants to crawl off my fat frame as if it were below 0. But whatever. I'm putting in the effort at school. If one thing can be said right now is that this semester is the TOTAL opposite of last semester. Fall 2017 was a constant pain in the butt. Everything was difficult and time consuming. Lots of topics I wasn't well versed on accompanied by dozens of hours of homework per week. I got through with low Bs. This semester is the total opposite. Topics I'm abundently familiar with and topics that don't take much thought or effort. Classes that require little to no hard work. The only thing that could be called hard is Advanced Programming, which I enjoy. I made Conway's Game of Life in Javascript. Conway Twitty's Game of Life. But none of the Conway Twitty jokes worked so we took them out. I really enjoy programming again. I'm trying to learn Node in my spare time, but there isn't much to be had where I have motivation to work on it. I should be doing other actual relevant school work. Also! I have a Japanese study partner now. We meet every weekend on Discord and go over Tae Kim's grammar guide. I have so much kanji to study and no added time to do it. May marches slowly closer. All fights and hotels are booked in Tokyo. Nothing left to do but kick the shit out of what's left of these classes. Spring, here I come. I'm coming whether you like it or not.
