Everything is Nonsense

It's 2018 and everything still feels nonsense. The build up to the new year was strong for most folks this year because 2017 was pretty universally unacceptable. I never put much stock into new years, but this one has me immediately salty. Rung in the new year with Cory and some other Discord friends playing Rocket League (first time properly in two years). Shortly after the near year, I quit without word and started feeling like shit. I have no explanation. I just feel no hope for this future. Please help me.
